In this regard, Keolis-MHI, a signatory of the “United Nations Global Compact”, and the “UAE Climate Responsible Companies Pledge” in support of the UAE Net Zero 2050 Strategic initiative, has made the control of the environmental impacts of its activities a strong commitment of the Keolis-MHl's Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) strategy.
We believe that excellent environmental and energy performance is an essential component of being a responsible organization, and that it will assist us in protecting and improving the environment in the United ArabEmirates.
The strategic policy establishes the basis for achieving our objectives and works in tandem with our Environmental and Energy Management System. Our minimum standard is to comply with all environmental and energy-related regulations and standards that apply to our industry.
We expect everyone who works for Keolis-MHI to apply the following key principles agreed by the Executive Team to guide our work activities:

To achieve this, we build, enforce and sustain a Management System based on the international standard ISO 14001 and BS EN ISO 50001. This system allows us to:
Identify, evaluate, and manage the aspects and impacts of our operations using a risk-based approach strategy.
Improve waste management performance, minimize waste production, raise recycling rates, & reduce waste sent to landfill.
Improve energy efficiency and reduce carbon emissions.
Reduce use of hazardous chemical and improve their management (storage, special labelling, and spill containment of hazardous liquids).
Monitor our environmental performance through value-adding audits, set KPl's, and report & investigate incidents.
Maintain a culture of engagement learning and continuous improvement.
Enhance environment and energy awareness, and promote a positive culture through dedicated Awareness Programs for internal and external stakeholders.
Provide employees with the relevant competence and training to deliver our policy and ensure that the environment and energy efficiency built into their responsibility.
The Environment and Energy Policy declares Top Management's dedication for continuous support to the organization for the continuous improvement of our environment and energy efficiency through the providing of the necessary resources.
